Hi,

i have one question:

As I recall the Pass I/V Stage was made to work with the specific TI/BB DAC in the PASS DAC.

Did we have to adjust the PASS I/V Stage for other DAC Chips like PCM 1704/1794/1798 and others?

They have all different Output Signal values....or so...excuse my poor english.

I found on my Harddisc these schematics for the D1 PSU - but I am not able to say who the original poster was. So, they are not mine....just as idea for a PSU PCB.

Here some suggestions for the parts from ZEI´s BOM List for the D1 IV Stage PCB:

C1, C1A, C1B, C2 = Wima MKP
C2A, C2B = Silver MICA
C3A, C3B = MKP-QS Audyn Cap
C4, C4A, C4B = Panasonic FC

or you take the Parts suggested in his EAGLE BOM.

Thanx for the PSU scematic.

That is something similar that i,m going to use to start with. 🙂

As i wrote earlier in this thread, (it think) when i made the layout i was thinking of using output caps "offboard"

I have got some nice russian Paper in oil caps i,m going to use. 🙂


The PCB,s should arrive to me any day now 🙂

Great, this will fit in the old Sony 228 ESD. I'm just working on a small PS and searching for a transformer. Maybe I have to renew the whole PS of the 228.
Do you have a final price for the boards?
