Anyone want to take a guess on what they eventually sell for?

The 0s did $4k new, the Aleph 0 twice that amount.
A thousand dollars is very little for a mint condition power amp set.
$2k is a lot for monaurals which can be 2 decades old.
Somewhere in the middle.

Folks:
For what little it's worth, I sold a pair of Aleph 1.2 monoblocks a little over a year ago on Audiogon. I listed the pair, which were about 20 years old and in very good shape, for about 40% of their original retail price. They were stock with the exception of the RCA connectors, which had been replaced with Furutechs (a small pain to drill the larger holes but well worth the effort). The amps sold in under an hour, which told me that my price was far too low. On the other hand, the buyer paid about 5% more than the price I paid 15 years earlier. All in all, a very, very satisfying experience.
A pair of Aleph O monoblocks for just over $1,000? Jacco's right -- that is a bargain!
Regards,
Scott

If someone wanted to buy those amps to use its chassis and transformer for a new diy build it would still be a great bargain!!
If only they were on this side of the pond... 😀

I wonder how the Aleph 0 compares with more modern Pass Labs or
(assuming you don't need a lot of power) First Watt pieces.
Doesn't look like the seller ships to Canada though.

I wouldn't spend more than $2500 unless you absolutely needed the extra power to run your speakers effectively.
If you have efficient speakers there are other firstwatt amps in this price range worth considering

Sold $2,291.00. I do not know of any other 25 year old SS amp that would sell for that price. Some of the older quality tube amps bring good prices.
The Aleph 0 and 0s came in two case versions, different bolt hole locations.
The ones offered on ebay look the updated model, could be 16 years old or nearly 20.
But I agree that the older models are apparently back in demand.
On ebay, without any mention of a recent service refreshment of the insides, nearly $2300 is surprising.

One reason is that we still service them at very nominal rates.
