Pascal S-Pro 2 Wiring Harnesses - Where to get?

Hi everyone, I just joined though I've been reading this very enlightening forum for years. I'm a total newbie with this stuff, so I have some questions about setting up a Pascal S Pro 2 module.

I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can get the wiring harnesses for a Pascal SPro 2.
A local store has a new old stock module , but no harnesses, and Pascal won't sell them one.

In this photo of the Pascal evaluation kit, I can see the different i/o harnesses.
I assume getting the stereo i/o module is probably a tall order as much as I'd like one. But I'm hoping the other harnesses can be acquired somewhere.

I don't see the IEC power harness in that photo. Is that a generic connector and if so, where could I get one? If not I would need to find one of those as well.

The blue one from Neutrik is the IEC.

The connectors are industry standard from Neutrik. Universal buffer boards from Neurochrome .com or XRK Audio might be a solution.

OK, i understand about the speakons, (though I spaced and was momentarily thinking the speaker cable outputs use speakons and it threw me off… I know better 😜) Now I see that the blue is power, and the others are stereo and mono in. Its the speaker cable harness I don't see in the photo. I wonder why.

What I'm wondering about is the little white connectors that go into the amp module. Are these generic sizes that work across different brand modules assuming the same wiring?

Could I buy the proper white connectors, loaded with unterminated wire, for the Mains,
Input and Speaker Cable connections?

I really am into this stuff, just at the beginning of my knowledge.
 
The 26 pin connector is an IDC connector and the white connectors are made by MOLEX (Perhaps something like this? https://www.molex.com/molex/products/family/kk_396?parentKey=wire_to_board_connectors ) you need to measure the precise dimensions and find the compatible ones. Using a parametric search on a parts distributor can help with this.

You can break out a cable to wire and attach another connector to end to get around the incompatible buffer issue.

Nice ! I see you're using Uffe's i/o board. I've got mine printed now also and am assembling my t-pro2 boards. The damn header connectors for power and speakers are bothering me too however... But they're molex are they - the kk plus? Like the OP I would love to find the right connector! 🙂
 
The white connectors are actually the VH-series from JST. 3pin for the mains with just two pins populated and 4 pin for the speaker. You can buy loose connectors and crimps for several vendors, and you you can even find places that sell pre-crimped cables.

If you are just building one project it is perfectly possible to solder cables to the crimps on the VH-series crimps and then bending the cable holders with needlenose pliers (fiddly yes, but possible).

If you want to do more and you're prepared to invest, consider buying a universal crimping plier from Engineer tools https://www.engineertools-jp.com/pa092021 - check the connector compatibility list to find the one that is most suited to your needs, but with a PA-21 you can more or less work with all the connectors from Molex and JST that are commonly used on class D modules.

And yes, nice to see my adapter boards being used @xman2005 - I hope they work well even in this "barebones" configuration 😀

At risk of going off topic here, curious to know what are people using for their front panel mute buttons for these modules using the I/O board? I have two modules in a case and wanted to have a single button to mute/standby the units. I was planning on picking up one of those cool looking vandal resistant ring LED buttons. Assume I'm looking for a DPST latching on-off button? There's so many choices 😵
 
Look for momentary action switches in electrical parts catalogs.
Or latching / change over type, if needed by the circuit.
Even the front panel switch from a PC will work.

Or a front door bell button.
Just kidding, but there are many choices.
