Partial quotes

I was recently pulled over by officer Cal for ‘quoting without attribution’ and have no issue with that but I had tried the partial quote (responding to the prior post) and it didn‘t relay to the reply box, clicked, double clicked, tried a few different things and can’t get it to show up……..am I missing a step?
Using Ipad 5th gen if that matters

Might be harder on an iPad. The cool thing with the new software is that you can select text, then right click and quote that text. Works great on Mac and Windows, a little quirky on iOS

I do that all the time. Often because the forum isn’t working right or when it is irrelevant.
