TO-12 size metal can (Same size as the LH0033), but only 4 pins + a case-ground pin.
No info on the tube they are stored in. Here are the markings:

PS S B
SW303
8231A

Testing all around the pins, pin to pin:

Ohm Meter: gets no reading at all.....(like an "open circuit")
Diode test: not diodes.
Capacitance: certain pins no reading, others about 10pf only.

My guess so far....nothing...it does nothing. :spin:

I've gone google crazy already....maybe I missed a string/order of the markings to search ?
Difficult because "SW303" brings up a lot of "switch #s", from schematics, or user manuals.

I was thinking "oscillator"..."SW303" (saw wave, sine wave, square wave) ??
But even an osc will show an ohm reading between pins.....so will a freq filter, no ? (I don't have any component filters to verify).

Clues....Hefty pins, and a case-ground pin.
So I'm thinking frequency signal related, high power.

I'm stumped.

It may be a TV saw filter. There is a vague description the poor info caused by other ic's amongst the one you need on the attached page. PS I think is the next clue to find the manufacturer. Could be Philips as they build a lot of tv parts.

Thx for looking....I did see that earlier.
Couldn't find more info though.

I bet that's what it is.
...a filter or a resonator. I "saw" some in TO-39 packages, but they were 3 pin (one case ground). Maybe this a "dual". ??

Just what I can use....something in the 303 MHz range....lol.
