As more and more websites are moving to https-only, access to their old http versions is being disabled. This causes links to the websites to render as "Access to this website has been disabled" by the forum software.
Example: www dot mouser dot com parses to Electronic Components Distributor - Mouser Electronics
Would it be possible for the the forum software to be configured to add https instead of http?
Here's the same link typed as: https:// www dot mouser dot com Electronic Components Distributor - Mouser Electronics

Hmmm... Of course now it works. Moments ago I posted in a different thread and the link text became "Access disabled".

"Blocked" comes up a lot when a website refuses hot-linking its content into another site's content; usually these work fine when clicked or when Right-Clicked "New Tab".

The web has had a rough week. Major CDN outages. Mostly fixed quickly; you have time to complain and then you look silly because they fixed it already.

This appears to be working as intended, closing. Also to note - we will be moving to XF soon (well into the build phase), and link rewriting will be revisited with fresh eyes.
