Parallel resistors watts question

If people who desire to get involved with electronics and designing would not be lazy and ignore the fundamentals imperative to such things, some questions wouldn't need to be asked.
I understand that "skipping things" and "diving right in" are common situations to some, thus these types of questions are asked.

Arm yourself with the knowledge.....

Go study and learn Ohms Laws, and their related subjects, and don't be lazy and rely on online replies which sometimes can be inaccurate and also confusing.

You need gasoline and a key first... in order to start and successfully use a car.

Arm yourself with the knowledge.....
Go study and learn

Fat chance of that 😀 😛

And this is why there's such a lot of "non tech" troubles.
Pure laziness.

People want to experience and enjoy their projects, understandably.
Yet they can't be bothered with the technical theory part of things.
In some cases, there are dangers involved, some of course are lethal.

I can't expect everyone to go "full on" and go to technical schools, earn a degree as I have, and read every page of textbooks, but there are some basics that even a hobbyist is required to understand and follow, if success is ever to be gotten.

Besides, imagine the bandwidth saved from the plethora of "dumb questions" being submitted.

A house needs tools and materials, and someone with some experience to build it, right?
So without the tools, you're just some plain loser making crap.

It cracks me up, those that pop on blogs and state "I just got one of those multimeters, I can attempt to fix my complicated amplifier".

Yeah, ok, sure.🙄

I remember my first interest in electronics came from someone I worked with when I was a labourer. I told him I was interested in building my own amplifier for my own disco and he provided a circuit diagram for me.
I had been a car mechanic so my knowledge of electronics was very limited.
I didnt actually use the circuit he gave me in the end but bought a Maplin kit.
However he did give me the spark to get on and at least try something.

A couple of years later I spotted a government course for industrial electronics and managed to pass entry exam for that. Never looked back since.
