The greatest distortions, you ask? I'd have to say they are linear distortions, not harmonic distortions.
Playing around with it a bit more, the parallel notch filter does seem to provide an impedance peak at the desired frequency, but I can't seem to get any more than about 3-4 dB reduction.Passive parallel notch doesn't seem to be doing the trick for me. Did you use a library block? When I try to either tune it or optimize it, it doesn't seem to do what I want to bring the peak down.
What order of slope are you planning to use and at what crossover frequency? You might not even be able to hear that peak anymore depending on the net attenuation by that point, plus with the other driver taking over.
I presume your range of adjustment of the Q of the filter by changing the resistance, has reached it's end. You can reach further by changing the C and L values.

So by 2khz, the woofer will be more than 50db down; I doubt you'd be able to hear any difference!
