I have a good amount of Western Electric NOS 2uf 600 VAC Paper in Oil capacitor.
I have been told they can be used connected to the anode of the rectifier, possibly paralleled to get values like 4uf or 8uf.
Seems that the Western Electric 124 schematic used a 4uf as such connected to the anode of the rectifier.
Can I use these capacitors with the TSE-II and SSE boards?
Where would you suggest to use them? Should I use them as C1 in the SSE, or as Optional Auxiliary Capacitor instead of the Motor Run Cap?
Imagining they would effect the sound in some way, in which position would they affect the sound the most?
Thank you!
