Paper cone tweeters

Visaton got 2 cheap and very good paper cone tweeters (not 94dB though). The Ciare HT 080 got 92dB, costs a bit more though (ca. 20€).

Hi,
There are some replacement tweeters for the old Carlsson speakers from Sweden. Below is a link to some measurement. The MT20 was around 91dB, judging by the difference, these seems to be around 94dB. Although only a guess! It's difficult to find real data. They cost 28Euro/piece in HifiKit.

A St Petersburg friend told me that when he buys heavy/expensive stuff he has it delivered to Finland and picks it up personally.

Not suggested for a tweeter but if you ever need something large and expensive .....

I'm just in a fun mood tonight, but there are still loads of cone tweeters about.

Monacor HT22-8 £6:
HT-22/8

Visaton TW70 £10:
TW 70 - 8 Ohm

IMO, work best on third order 3kHz crossovers. Not ferrofluid. Couple of my builds, or lash-ups below. Sound pretty good. Dispersion is not wide, off axis. That's how it works.
