"Pangolins", a Dayton 10" 2.5way...

Thanks, @jerome69, and i had a pair of CAT378 as a backup plan if I couldn't make them work as is. While I don't think the bare MDF looks better than the veneers on the DeVore, I appreciate your compliment looking at it from the entire performance and form factor perspective.

This was a very fun build, and i am really enjoying them now.

I'll likely make some shorter stands for them, now that I feel I have to spruce up the aesthetics. The wooden Walmart crates work, but not from a totally stable standpoint.

Final xover layout, 3 shots to see it all. I had a bunch of used Dayton caps, so I used a lot of them, some in parallel to make values.

I shouldn't have to ever service these. The caps are all poly but the Russian PIO. The resistors are all on the exterior and easily accessible except for the 1 ohm I glued into place. I plan on making an outboard case for them, and wiring up a Speakon pigtail. The cabs will get a Speakon input in parallel with the posts on the back, as that was always in the plans.

Wolf Hi

I am your fan always see every post that you mention cause I am new in DIY and love this hobby

I was wondering if you made any plan on SoundBars. I am intererested in a great Soundbar say below 65" TV that can full room for music and Movies so seperate subwoofer box. Say a 2.1 system with a TPA 3255 amp driving it. Ca you suggest what should I do. Drivers should be Peerless- SB last Dayton
This sound bar once done around same principle will want to make a Boombox for my family with battery.

warm regards
anand
