Hello:
Have you done internal mod for Panasonic DVD players model A-120 & A-115 you'll share with us all? Thank you very much.
Cheap trick.
I put one marble under every feet of my DVD-CD player plus two bricks over it (My wife made nice velvet covers for them).
You wouldn't believe what happened to my sound. So, try for yourself and listen to the glory you have hidden in your system. I'm not going back also re-discovering my CD's collection.
Right now marble experimenting is currently going under all my equipment one at a time. Will keep you posted !

I modded my A10 literally by taking the whole thing apart. Small caps are pp and ok. Signal path reistors replaced, opamps replaced; those horrible NJM2114s; dac circuitry screened from very close ps boards etc. Sounds much better afterwards.
The added weight to the A10 consists of steel plates added to bottem. This casuses a stored energy problem and imparts lower bass bloom. Removed and spiked bottom. Sounds much more agile.
The thing now plays dvds and dvd-a s much better.
Have yopu found a way of disabling the auto- shut off? Very annoying.
Re: Re: Panasonic Dvd Tweak
Just out of curiousity, how do you find out which op-amps are compatible with other op-amps? Is there some kind of standard naming? Like some other brand called a TIO2114 (just an example)
Sorry I don't know much yet about op-amps.

I have an A120 and would be interested in tweeks as well. Also, it doesn't play CDR's ...which is kinda a pain, but I'd still like to know tweeks. Thanks!
