Thanks for sharing! The LS3/5A is another speaker that has shown up as a good pairing for First Watt amps in professional review despite low sensitivity. I was struggling to understand why, but I'm beginning to see the trends connecting these "outliers".

I can second that, I tried my F6 and M2 on some Falcon Ls3/5a clones i assembled for my daughters. Sounded really great and played louder than expected.

So something like this would not really be a good fit?
I tried them with my DIY VFET, and found the bass really lacking. 😕

jamayfie, I second looking into Tektons. They make monitor versions of the Mini Lore that might work for your limited space Mini Lore Monitor - Tekton Design

Recently got a pair of Tekton Lore's, easy to drive. Big sound, smallish form factor. From an FAOW to a Pass Labs X150, I've yet to be dissappointed. And I do believe our resident SIT mad scientist, Mr. MR has a pair and can attest.

Which do happen to be on sale right now at Tekton I might add.
