When the amp is operating, you will see 40v on each of the speaker terminals.
To clarify, the copper bussbars have nothing to do with rail voltage. The fact that there was rail voltage on one of them was coincidental.

Thanks perry. I went back last night and had the 40v on the speaker outputs. Hooked up an old sub and it played well. As far as I can tell it's back to life. Your help is appreciated.
Now on to the second one. I believe I have one more resistor to replace on the output and we'll be ready to test that one. If it doesn't comes back to life I'll start a new thread.
