Carbon fibre, glass fibre and aramid fibre cone materials are impregnated with a polymer.Not sure about that Kevlar cone because it has a woven structure, unless varnished at factory or something, it will absorb some water.

Regarding dying and decolouring with solvents. The glass-aramid will likely be suspended in an epoxy so I think the only way to change the colour is to cover it up with a paint. Personally, since it's a woofer, I'd be inclined to just cover it up with a decent mesh, since it shouldn't be radiating HF anyway.
