I got the impression from this post that you thought my explenation of delay in active xo was incorrect. You haven't replied to my previous post, so may I assume you understand the difference between dsp and active xo in this regard?
See

was my elaboration on LR8 what you wanted to hear?
yes

Sorry, I'm on a bit of a learning curve here! It's a bit steeper right now than it has been for a while.
The second part you quote was directed at 454Casull who only graced this thread with an url.
Just wanted to check wether or not my post was tailotmade for your question and not too generic 😉.

update: I bought the active xo kit as it's ultra cheap and discontinued and I'd stubbornly like to try it.
update: Ultracurve DEQ unit it faulty so I can now consider DCX on a level playing field, family don't mind putting in the money and I boost it with enough money to get a new one - previously I didn't want to broach the subject, but circumstances (unit failing) may work in my favour this time
But if I get DCX then my active xo kit is wasted (except that I can AB compare)
Hmmm, what to do ...

Get them both and have a blast playing with them 😀
I'm leaning towards getting DCX now. If I miss some of the features of DEQ then I could get Ultracurve DSP which is cheaper ...
