Nice dog Turk! My roommate has a dog, she's not that beautiful (the dog!) but very nice indeed.
Thanks Indianajo, i will do exactly how you said.
So, i would say that after repairing the ground trace i put a new 4558 and if with the poor speakers i'll have a good behaviour i'll try it on the "good" speakers.
I report as soon as i can. 🙂

well it's still way too early for a scotch where i am, but you should pour a shot of tequila, hook up your speakers take a little break and listen to your victory for a bit.
don't have a second shot until you re-assemble it though...

I read this tread now and then;
It's a mess.
My advise:
Forget all that's been written and start all over again.
FIRST:
Check the voltages and make sure they are ok.
If not; all the rest is pointless and a waste of time by you and all others.
Second:
Let us know the values and how you measure them.
All the rest, again, is pointless and a waste of time by you and all others.
If you do not use a method, starting with the power supply and fix it first, then, again, all the rest, again, is pointless and a waste of time by you and all others.
Cheers, and I stay with coffee.

Hello Turk182,
I have to admit that the last post I saw on my screen had number 173 something.
Now I see that it's 244!!!
Bizar...
I reacted on the many posts until 173.. and that the OP didn't come further then some readings of the 7815 and 7915 regulators.
Allthough many of you gave advise but the OP did not acted accordingly.
Hence my advise to restart the procedure, but we are 70 posts further...
Then my comments are useless and should not be taken into account.
Forget what I wrote...
Thanks

C'mon, no stress guys. Tarzan, i totally underastand what you mean, it isn't (hopefully WASN'T) easy for Turk and Indianajo to explain me every thing, i'm a rookie and they are (hopefully WERE) very kind to me.
Don't take this thread as a reference though! 🙂
Let say that if from the very beginning i would have been clearer and less impatient we might had arrived to conclusion earlier, i dunno.
Anyway, B power board and B pre are playing in their bix, XTC's "English Settlement".
So far so good. Now i assemble speaker A. I report as soon as i can.
Edit
Yeah, Turk has been hard on me, like my mum! 😀

Congratulations, chiunana. Two working audio systems and you know so much more now than ever you did before. Pity the systems missed last Saturday night party, though.
I'm off to have a nice salad, melted spiced cheese tortilla, tuna sandwich, sugar free chocolate candy and a diet cherry cola- my idea of a good time. Enjoy yourselves.

Come on down, the snow is dust floating in the air today. I rode my bicycle to church this AM, only 0 deg C and no wind. Six cans of tuna fish stacked up, if you like that sort of thing. You can have melted spice cheese on leavened (holes in it) bread if you wish.
You know, I own property 27 miles north of here, and it snows twice as much up there. But it is soos much cooler in the summer, and no ozone up on a windy ridge.
Turk, are you anywhere near the First Nations reserve in North Ontario? Looks like a nice train trip up that way with a nice new hotel up there in the woods. I'm one of the last native Am looking people from Appalachia. the grandparents were survivors that lived by mining coal after 1890.
