Hi Guys. Has anyone seen an aluminum, or at least, precision-made p-mount adapter that is more accurately made and of higher quality than the common cheaply made plastic type?

This one is very good, particularly if you use a small wooden "wedge" between cartridge body and the adapter. I'm using it with my Technics EPS-310MC.... sounds terrific:

Thank you. The Ortofon and my Audio Technica adapter are identical, so I must conclude they're both quite good. I'm presently working through some surface noise issues, so I'll post photos if my static discharge modification helps. I'm going to use a few carbon fiber bristles from a Recordquest to make a static bleeder that hangs from the p-mout adapter. I'm getting evenly-spaced "pops" at the beginning of the record in the left channel, and if AT is like Shure, the left channel also carries the cartridge case ground and would "pop" on each static spark!
