8K!?! WTF? What kind of system do you have? Here's what I'm running:
- 9500Pro, OC'd to 330/310
- Athlon 1.8Ghz 2500+ OC'd to 2.4Ghz
- 1 cheapo 512MB 400mhz DDR Ram (running at 333mhz, 2.0 CL, and everything else set as optimal as possible)
- DFI AD77 Infinity mobo. 166mhz FSB.
- An IDE RAID w/ two WD 80MB 7200rpm drives w/ 8MB cache each
- Cheap onboard soundcard.
I know my RAM is crap, but since it's 400mhz, I can run it as if it were high-end 333mhz. How on earth do you have twice as good of a score as me with a significantly worse video card? Your CPU can't be much faster (mine clocks at over 3Ghz). I'm confused. Your talking about 3DMark 2003 right? Not 3DMark 2001 SE? Correct? I score 13k on 3Dmark 2001.

sorry...i get NEAR 8k on high quality SXGA i get 6408 and XGA medium Quality i get 7711 at normal i get 7995
i USED to get 5524 on my stock no fan PIII 733 Mhz,
Current System XP 2000+ 256 mb DDr 2100 ram, aZZa Kt33-Bv mobo and a slow 8500 🙁
with that Oc'd 95 pro u SHOULD get neat 20K most ppl with 95 NP get 19-20 ++
wow! u OC'd ur AMD whats ur cooling? i cant Oc mine im too scared...lol this is my 1st AMD system, i plan to get a "1700+ JUI step" soon, u heard of it? well itd WICKED! its guaranteed to Oc to 2600 gHz and higher with heavy cooling.

Ok, heh. You scared me there. Yeah, I should get higher on both benchmarks. I just do the default benchmark, I don't change the settings on either 2k1 or 2k3. Also, I'm using the free versions. My CPU benchmarks very well (using Sandra), so I think my bottleneck is my memory bandwidth. Either that or my motherboard is absolute garbage.
Just ordered a 9500 128 mb NP from allstar...lets hope its moddable

I recieved my 9500 NP from Allstar.com AND MOD WAS SUCCESSFUL!! man i was expecting to fail but i didnt even get ONE checkerboard! no artifacts whastover ABSOLUTELY perfect
8500 score=8247
9500 score=97xx
9500 HAcKED score=11731
I may try to complete the 9700 or even the 9800 PRO2 process by overclockin the card, but i've never made a good Oc with vidcards...but i'll try it
