Output Transistor faulty

I have a faulty output transistor (I think it's a output type) question is, there is no sound from the left channel either, so, if 1 goes bad, does it mean that both channels will put out no sound? A it makes no sound at all, but powers up ok and the relay switch comes on.

Any fault usually trips the speaker protection relay which is common to both channels in most amps.

If you have a shorted transistor then there is a good chance there will be other damage too, at the very least the drivers and possibly any low value resistors around the stage.
