Output transformer in reverse to drive a piezo disk

Hi, I'm sure some of you are familiar with Nicolas Collins' " Handmade electronic music". In one of the chapters he shows how to use a piezo disk as a driver, by hooking it up to an output transformer in reverse and then to the speaker output (8ohms) of a small amplifier. He also says this would not work with the headphones output due to different ohmsettings.

My problem is that I'm looking for a way to drive a piezo disk with the headphones output of my laptop. Collins doesn't elaborate on the details of different ohmsettings. Does anyone have a clue how I could acheive this?

Thanks in advance!
