A "real" Tek is built like a tank; the 22xx serie is light weight and feels cheap, and those are the 2 reasons I chose it: I had to carry it home 🙂
I just happened to stumble on a reasonable deal for at Tek 475 here in Sweden. However, I am curious how old it might be. Is there anywhere one can find info about the mapping between serial numbers and years?
I also got a complete service manual in the deal. However, I now realise that the scope is probably older than the service manual. The manual is the 1976 revision and applies to serial numbers from B250000 upwards, while the scope has a serial number just over 102000. Does anybody know if there are any major differences to be aware of, or if I can assume the service manual is close enough also for my scope?
