Such things can be dangerous even powered off. Once I poked around in a TV set (turned off, plugged out) and wanted to clean the CRT, it looked dirty where the HV cable was attached. I got a shock and got scared so that in a sudden movement I broke the neck of the CRT.
Well Ive got the parts and installed them (FET and high voltage diode) but I'm still getting the spark over on the 2 watt resistor? Ive spent the last week trying everything I can think of to find whats wrong with this oscilloscope but its got me beat,any ideas anyone?
