Hi, I just started an upgrade to my old pre-preamplifier Ortofon MCA-10. I would like to share that experience if there are interested guys.
Unfortunately, there is no schematic on the net. There is anybody in possession of this?
Or there is someone that has done this upgrade?
Many years ago I use it with my EMT XSD 15 and sounded great.

Hi, I just bought a turntable that comes with this preamp, or is it pre-pre amp? I don't have it yet in my hands but what did you upgrade?

Its a MC amplifier for input to a MM stage so you could say its a pre-pre-amp.
Its a 10 ohm input impedance so wont suite every MC --gain about 34db .
If the input impedance is set by a resistor then you could change it .
The MCA-76 is a different update .
