I guess I posted in the wrong section before. Does anyone know if the original Irig can be modded to act as a preamp to hookup a bass to the "aux" in of any audio systems? Thanks

This:

suggests that no modification would be required - it has an analog output which should plug straight in to your PA or Git Amp (Line in or Effects Return)
As we say in Oz - "suck it and see".
