I know that aleph is the first letter in many alphabets, and also means something in mathematics. But I don't ever remember seeing why he chose it in any off his articles (or threads here). It's certainly a good name, just wondering the origin.
I always assumed it might've partly had something to do with being in a Class A amp, or the idea that it was the chosen CCS. 😉

could be that Aleph in reference to the Hebrew alphabet is considered "to not have a sound of it own". but more likely from math...
Funny we were talking about transfinite cardinals at work Friday...in relationship to someone's birthday. 🙂
I've always like the name Aleph. Big and bold, truly 'to infinity and beyond'.

It is a Jorge Luis Borges' book, https://www.amazon.com/Aleph-Spanish-Jorge-Luis-Borges/dp/0785949712
Now, why an amp got its name from it, I don't know.
