Thermal printer ink is hazardous too I read somewhere. Anyway black biro ink lasts forever as far as I know as its a carbon-black based pigment, not an organic dye like many coloured inks. I too add large versions of the small print on labels so I can find the right bag quickly.
I don't know who designs the layout of such labels, but they are pretty clueless as to what a label is used for! Large print for the important information (what the contents is!), small print for the other less important details, that's not rocket science to get right.

Exactly, my words, WTF is Digi-Key thinking with the new labels? 🙂 it's like they expect my eye/brain to now perform QR and bar code decoding 🙂 or even worse that I need my phone to figure out what's on the label in my parts stash.
Mark now you are scaring me with hazardous ink. Crap even the el cheapo pcb holder I bought yesterday has a Califoria Bio-hazard warning on it 🙂
I think the jlc labels are thermal ink too but are embedded into the plastic just like the desicant packs, PS do not open one up 🙂

Hell, speaker drivers are coming with California bio hazard warnings on the box. Even if there isn’t one atom of Beryllium in them. Cry wolf enough and nobody believes it when there IS a hazard.
The warning about sharp edges on Eminence steel frames were long overdue, though.

Non standard PCBs for other functions (and no PCB tracks) deliver frowning eyebrows at JLCPCB but are produced flawlessy. These are 2 layer 1.6 mm tin/lead finish 92 x 500 mm.
Since there are proximity/touch switches that light up red when activated the stuff needs to be somewhat transparent which the yellow PCB board is.

Hi, it is merely a tryout/repair of 2 brand new Bosch extractor hoods both with broken glass from transport. I asked for extra coating as it is after all epoxy with glass fibre but this was too hard to get through (communication). The second layer has copper rings to indicate the area where to touch and I just feared today while testing that these would interfere but all works as intended.
The 4 mounting holes contain tin/lead but will be sealed with stainless steel M4 Torx or Inbus bolts, washers and nuts.
