Optimos Question - Circuit

In this ciruit for the Optimos Amplifier there is two listed as "Opt 1 , DC Option" and Opt 2, DC Option. Can anyone expand as to what these "options" are for? I have circled in red.

You have a choice of back-to-back electrolytics, a single non-polar electrolytic, or no cap (a jumper).

The diode protects the cap in the feedback loop from high reverse voltages.

In amplifiers like the Adcom GFA555 and the Leach, no input cap is used. There is a cap in the feedback loop.

If you short OPT1 and/or OPT2 with a jumper
then you should be careful to measure DC-Offset at output.
Because this is what will happen.
