I have started building my projector for a week and was not sure what type of lens to use. My lcd panel is 10.4 diagonal, I am thinking of using Metal Halide (yet to decide 400W or 1000W) and will build a box from IKEA toy box. The most difficult part is to find a lens and I came across this link. I think its pretty nice so thought to share with all of you.

My LCD size = 10.4
Screen to LCD distance = 15 feet
using this parameters on the above link, they recommend a plano convex lens of about 300 mm EFL. Any input on this?
