Im building a single-ended 6v6 amp using hammond 125ESE opt's. Currently im tyring to figure out the best layout for components sitting on the chassis.
The space is quite limited on my chassis, so i would need to place opt's right next to each other, like 2cm gap between them. Im worried this could cause hum.

Power transformer should not be a problem since its "laying" on the chassis unlike other trafos.
Thanks!

To minimize magnetic hum and crosstalk, note the plane of the stack of EI lams of each transformer, and mount each transformer so these are at right angles to each other. Give priority to the power transformer, as you want to avoid hum pickup more than left and right channel crosstalk.
