I bought a used BDP a while ago and just got around to setting it up. For some A/B comparisons, i tried to use a toslink cable to connect it with my V90 dac but the oppo socket is deeper and taller than the plug from the toslink cable - so i cannot actually use the output.
I also tried using the mini toslink cap on the end of the cable. No luck either.
I don't remember if the cable came with the BDP83 or not ut does anyone know if there is anything unusual about the toslink output for the oppo bdp83?
