I am having problem with powering up my Oppo BDP-83SE NuForce edition, whether pressing the power button on the player or using the remote control. Basically the player refuse to power up and the LED light remains red. I have encountered this before about 3 years back, and was told that the power supply board is the problem.
I'm wondering if any fellow forumers would have experience in repairing/modding the power supply board with such problem, or have the schematics for me to attempt my own trouble-shooting and repair. Any advise is much appreciated.
