I have found that the o/p level on my new 105 is a tad low when used directly into a power amp with good sensitivity (1Vrms) even after setting the 105's max level to 100. One reviewer also pointed this out when comparing the OPPO's analog out with HDMI out ( into a Rx). I can only use the unbalanced outputs.
This is a shame as I don't want a separate line preamp, I partly bought the 105 because it offers digital volume control.
Has any one looked into this issue? Does anyone know if this can be fixed with a FW upgrade assuming OPPO can do it?
