I have a nice 5" kevlar woofer-mid I'd like to use as a midrange. 800 - 8khz. It's original enclosure is about .07 - .08 cf ported, can I run it closed, reduce that cf by a lot and stuff it with some sort of damping ? I tried a .07cf box inside the main box, (1.7cf) and it damped out my nice deep bass to a tight sound I didn't like.
I have no specs on the woofer, it's a Linaeum Pro LX-550 driver. The reason I need to ask this one.
Any ideas for an easy chamber cup ? Something proven off the shelf would be a better idea.
