If you check out melon head's "dumb open baffle" thread, his open baffles have a bit of the feq hump then roll. His sealed boxes for the an15 show baffle step clearly.

My 4 x 4" open backed box (2' x 2' x 19" deep) seemed to go way deeper and more bass than 2 of the same drivers in a 8" wide x 13" tall x 19" deep sealed box.
