open baffle with 2 full range

i want to build open baffle with two full range speakers and i want to know the difference between parallel connection and bi wired connection .Two 8ohms drivers in parallel give 4 ohms is it the same if i bi wire them.The speakers are Lii audio F15 and fast 8.Thanks
