Open Baffle System

I am interested in building a 3-way open baffle speaker system and need a little(lot!)of advice. I plan to use a 12" woofer, dome mid-range and a ribbon tweeter for each channel. My baffle will be about 18" wide by 36" tall with rear facing wings on each side ( I plan to experiment with the depth of the wings ).
I have a budget of about $125.00 per channel nor counting the crossovers or baffles themselves. I have a pair of crossovers that I purchased some time ago from Parts Express (800hz and 5000hz crossover frequencies with 12db per octave roll-off into an 8 ohm load) that I would like to use on this project if possible. I like to deal with Parts Express because of their prices and service but I'm open to any suggestions if they will fit my budget!😀

Parts Express ROCKS!
I would suggest refraining from an open baffle if you are building a multi driver speaker simply because there are many other designs out there such as bass reflex, acoustic suspension and so on that would probally suit the project alot better. Second of all, a pre-made crossover will not have any zobel networks, series notch filters, attenuation to match the driver's sensitivity which in most cases is required and calculated upon the specs of each driver used in the project. Open baffle designs are usually used in a single driver speaker without a crossover they tend to work pretty well in some occasions depending on the driver being used. What are the drivers that you were thinking of using?
