A 40 cm wide baffle will roll off from about 300 Hz, a 50 cm wide baffle from 200 Hz. -4 dB points will be roughly one octave lower each. Both results for mounting a 10'' driver 6'' down from the upper baffle edge. What is the rule of them for how large the baffle needs to be?
You will need to EQ a 3-4 dB peak above 500 Hz.
You should have at least 1 m from driver to front and side walls. Bigger distance to front wall would be helpful for more bass.Distance to wall etc?
Try to toe in the baffles until the speaker axis' meet 1 foot in front of your head.
