Hi.I want to build an OB.My room dimension 4x5m. Is it good for OB. I want good bass.Can i use 18 inch eminence woofers or celestion ? Which woofers do you recommend? My friend can build pllxo for me.Thanks
Hello. Your room is on the small side but still doable if you are able to have the speakers well away from the front wall. Have you looked at Linkwitz Lab site?
My room have 2.75m x 3.66m and it's work perfectly.

I have 43-48 inch behind my baffle (43 inch is the internal side and 48 inch is external side (the toe in!) ) and they are at 9 inch from the side wall.

You can actually take the woofers right upto the side walls for extra bass, this is what I do, U-frames, but they are in separate cabinets to the mains.
you need one meter mini behind the speaker, it's better imho the chair not being on the back wall for listening position. The most difficult challenge is the room is almost a square and the width is limited cause the large width needed for the open baffle. 18" is not a problem a there is a lot of loss due to the baafle step and open config.... Well it's more about the soundstage as a challenge, but open bafle are good in small volume...
Pehaps a little of toe in/off will be needed and a 1 tp 1.5 m listenin distance is mandatory in order to let the speaker breath and set up yur listening position (experimentation is reaally your friend here...
