HI EVERYBODY, A ROOKIE FROM BUENOS AIRES...
I HAVE READ THAT OPAMPS HAVE TO BE ORIENTED WITH THE NOTCH AWAY FROM THE POWER SUPPLY. INDEED, THIS IS USUAL PRACTICE IN EVERY AUDIO DEVICE THAT I HAVE SEEN.
I HAVE GOOGLED ALL OVER BUT THERE IS NO RELATED INFO.
CAN ANYBODY EXPLAIN A LITTLE ABOUT THIS?

It's easier than that; the notch just gives you the orientation of the chip so that you can properly determine which pin is which. Looked at from the top with the notch pointing forward, the top left pin is number 1.
thank you very much, sy.
I knew about the orientation logic; I was suspecting that the issue ¨notch away from the ps¨ was something usually done to avoid interferences from the supply -as if one side of the chip were more prone to catch rfi that the other-. Now I understand that it´s only a pcb layout logic issue.
thank you again.

I thought I'd let some-one else answer this but :

should clarify what is meant by forward, is this case up.
😉 sreten.
