How do I build a softstart circuit?
When you say 200W, do you mean peak or RMS?
Thanks for helping
sorry-didn't see this on. 600va is overkill (but not that big difference in price). I would recommend a 300va one instead (I was thinking stereo). Then you also don't need a soft-start.
for paralell opa541: ((10A*0,707)^2)*4=200Wrms
you're welcome

Did you see the schematic? Any comments will be appreciated. I am really planning on building a bridge/parallel OPA541.

THAT IS CORRECT

from opa541 datasheet "Voltage swing=Vs-5,5 @Iout=5A"
The wattage @4/2 are normally limited by current P=((I*root2)^2)*R. R=8/4/2..
Ipeak=V/R. Irms=Ipeak*root2. for Prms use Vrms and Irms.
To know your psu voltage under load this little tool is helpful: http://www.duncanamps.com/psud2/psud2_setup.exe
-This was wrong It's 1/root2 where it says root2... (0,707 for practical purposes)
