Hello, does anyone know what I can use as a drop-in replacement for a very obsolete op07H?
This is an op07 in a to-5 metal can.
Cheers

The OP-07 has very good DC performance, but isn't very fast. It's often used in measurement equipment. I'd think you could replace it with any similar speed part that boasted good DC performance, which would include several LT parts. Can you adapt a DIP to the circuit, or does it have to be the TO-5 can?

Well, I have to supply the op amp to another customer, so modifying the board isn't really an option and I dont think the customer would feel comfortable doing it.
I've fitted DIP ics into TO-5 positions before (eg Bose 1800 amp!). I wonder if anyone (eg Aries) do a surfboard adapter? To-5 ics are getting rare and unwanted these days!

Ive found some SOIC to TO99 adapters from Aries which I can order through Digikey in America: although by the time Ive ordered the ic and the adapter, I could probably get a genuine metal one from China! And around 30 quid for one plus international shipping is a little steep!
