I'm tearing apart a Samson Servo 300 to have a look and for the sheer fun of it (I'm sure you understand! 😀 ) and I noticed that the input boards have an op amp on them JRC 5042C. Can't find much info on these via google, can anyone help with these?

EDIT: Scratch that. I read the part no. wrong. They are 2068D's. Plenty of info on that. NM.

JRC is Japan Radio Company. There are plenty of ICs with this prefix that mimic ICs from other manufacturers. Search for the numbers after the prefix.
Unfortunately, that is what I did. It turns out that the part id was before the JRC prefix. 2068D JRC 5042C. Seems like an OK op amp, sort of mainstream in the pro audio circle.

The amp is packed so tight into the back half of the chassis that I doubt I will bother modding much. Fans, of course, and maybe some cable rerouting but that's about it.
