Hi
I’ve just recently joined and I’m after some information.
I recently acquired the OTA MPX Decoder for my Leak Troughline 3 tuner, but the power supply for the OTA is missing.
Does any other member have this decoder and can they tell me the spec of the power supply? Also looking for a copy of the original instruction sheet as this isn’t available to download on the OTA website.
Best Regards
Tim

The PSU needs to supply a maximum of 14VDC and 75mA. A 12V wall wart will do, but definitely not a 15V.
Or you can power it via a voltage doubler from the heater supply, but you will need a regulator. Is there one on board?
How did you get on Tim? My dac broke down recently, so I dug out some of my old tapes of BBC3’s Late Junction which I used to record via my Leak Troughline (both before and after the One Thing upgrade) and Nakamichi tape deck. I was amazed at the fullness and grace of the sound, but what nags me is wondering whether it is the BBC processing that makes it sound so good or the tuner, or the combination of both? I remember that BBC radio 1 always sounded awful for what I thought was over processing and loudness. I am still peeved that BBC radio 6 won’t send out an analogue signal.
