Everything is OK with this group buy 😉 First I wanted to send e-mail to every people that mailed me before. This is time-consuming.

Traw send me information that cost of money transfer from US equals about 30$! I will talk to Wchick and we will try to organize separate GB for US (nad Canada?).

First list for this group buy:

AP1.7 GB list

:att'n: Please, don't send me e-mails - I will contact You severally basing on declarations from this thread. This is the best way to keep some order in this order 😉 I will inform You about progress.

Boards should be available in a couple of days and I know that there will be few more of them. Prices: 10Euro / 12US$ for standard, Tin Plated stereo set (2xAP + 2xPS) and 16.5Euro / 20US$ for Gold Plated stereo set.

Somebody asked about volume control for AP1.7... Tomorrow I will receive my WM STAMP boards + control 😉 2x20 VFD display, IR pilot, 2 encoders but still this is test version. Driver boards is universal - for wm stamp and relay volume control that I'm working on with Peter Daniel.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

How about an Input selector

Veteran,

Will you be implementing an input selector along with the volume control you got going there?

I really be interested in that too when it becomes available. I initially wanted to do something similar but didn't have hte tools nor the know how to program the microcontroller.

Cheers

Alright everyone, as Veteran posted before, keep your cool!

He contacted me and kept me updated on workprogress an reception of payment sofar.

Just give him some time to get his stuff organized and to contact everyone individually in sequence.

As to now, I am quite happy with the proceeding and with a little patience, you will too...

Well, I apologize if I jumped the gun here. :ashamed:
Unfortunately it is a fairly frequent occurrence on this board to simply disappear after setting something up. I am happy to see that has not happened. It would however, be nice to receive an update every now and then.

That being said, I am very glad to see things moving forward. It looks like an extremely good design for a very reasonable price. Far cheaper than anything I can have made here in the US. :bawling:

Veteran, the list on the Unisonus site is not even close to the list created by wchick back on March 22. There are 45 names there with over 75 boards requested.
Are you using wchick's list or starting another one?

As I understood it in the mail he sent me, he contacts each person individually, startin at post1 and continuing backwards. Then creating the list as the replies are comming in.

So, take a load of and just relax. 😀

Correct me if I got it wrong.

Something like that KMJ 😉

List here is just partial - there are only users that confirmed me their orders so I'm still waiting for answers from some of You.

Probably. I placed 8-pin socket for selector on my control board - now everything depends from software (32kB of memory in ATMega should be enough). Digital volume control rely on WM8816 chip from Wolfson. Choosing more powerful op-amps to work with it (like OPA551/552) we can even turn it into headphone amp 😉

Tomorrow I will put my hands on WM STAMP and control boards and ask about Aleph P 1.7 boards status (Tin Plated should be ready).

Weekend's coming so I can be a bit inaccessible 😉

Same with me down under.
Would there be a paypal option?
Or maybe anyone who live close to poland and can take paypal
is willing to be the middle person?

BTW, Veteran, I haven't received any email from you to confirm
my participation in the group buy. Should I email you first?

thanks,

My bank (swedish) has internetbased services so a transfer from my account costs approx 1,5$ not counting the fee that Veterans bank MAY charge.
I have Paypal so if you Yanks can wait a few days so I can get confirmation on the total price I could perhaps help you guys out.

kmj,

I would like to tag along on this payment bandwagon that you may have going there. My bank charges close to USD40 for a transfer too....@#%$money grabbers#@$.

I will paypal the funds to you and then you to Veteran....

What I did...

I posted my order on this thread and also sent Veteran an email via his diyaudio homepage.

Veteran has subsequently contacted me and we have agreed on the number of boards, shipping costs, payment method and shipping address.

My 2 cents.....

If you guys have not done so, it may be a good idea to send him an email via his homepage. He has been a decent guy to deal with so far. I say give him some time as he may be busy with his day job and he will get round to you.

You guys sort out the options with payment while I volunteer to take all U.S.-bound boards over from Europe and ship them within the U.S. .

I will have to figure out shipping costs for the boards within the U.S. (anyone any idea?).

How if you pool for the payment due and one does the transfer...?
