Hi all,
does anybody know any equivalent tube to 6H30's one-half?
Having some thoughts of building a simple cathode follower stage with a single triode on each channel.

I don't know of any equivalent with two halves, let alone one. If you want to use two tubes what's wrong with using half of 6H30 per channel?
It could be done. I see also 6H30 NOS to be highly priced.
You can use the 6H6P instead which is very similar to 6H30 and uses the same pinout. In case you leave in Athens I can give you a pair in order to test it
6s3p or 6s4p are single triodes with roughly same specs than 6n30p.
(gm = 19,5 mA/V vs. 18 mA/V)
6n6p has gm = 11 mA/V only.

Thank you for the inputs!
artosalo, interesting, mu=50 for 6s3p,max Ua=160V,Rp slightly higher than 6H30's with same bias.

There are no equivalents to 6H30. It´s a unique and also splendid tube! To compare, check Klausmobiles site.
If you want another great sounding tube you should triodestrap a 6E5P. It has no similarity to 6H30 though. Higher S and and higher mu. Very robust like 6H30.
