Is it going to actually connect with the pci slot or just sit in it with no traces to the card slot ?

the card will take +/-12V from pci slot,but I think it is no good.
I have place a 4pins connector on card,then it can directly take power from PC power.
I want to design a PNP card,in this way can reduce lots of wires around the PC workstation.
You should better not use the volt. from the mainboard: noisy + the video card & CPU can pull out more than 200W from the PSU(Which are often 350W ones)
Also, it would need good cooling, unless you use small power amps like in the ISA SB16(4Wx2)
