On off switch

Hey,
I'm looking for an on off switch that I can easily solder wire to. The one that comes with the kit (Schurter) is plastic and doesn't allow soldering without possibly melting the housing. I know it can be done but their is risk. There are many alternatives but wondered what the group may have used. You know, better quality and perhaps filtered. Not sure, what do you think?
Thanks

Wet the tab first with a dab of solder, same with the wire ... let it cool..... then In and out quickly enough with a decent iron/tip (and solder) and it's fine.

Otherwise you can get switches with solderable tabs, but the same advice holds, get in quick enough (but slow enough to bring both tab and wire up to solder flow temp) to form a solid connection.
Then tie both wires together with a tie-wrap to offer both a bit of physical help from each other.

The one that comes with which kit? Do you have a form factor you're restricted to using?

You've received some nice advice on how to solder the connections, if you choose. "Easily" is relative to your ability and the tools at your disposal.
