Hello, I designed and built this omni-directional loudspeaker, which is still a prototype but is already fully operational and integrated into my home audio system.

This project features a single full-range audio driver positioned facing upwards, accompanied by two conical-shaped sound reflectors.
The driver placement, facing upward, ensures that sound is projected evenly throughout the listening space.
To enhance the dispersion and soundstage of the loudspeaker, I have incorporated two conical-shaped sound reflectors at the top and at the bottom.
The top reflector, positioned above the audio driver and facing downward, redirects sound waves towards the listener.
The bottom reflector is located below a "pseudo phase-inverter tunnel", and faces upward for overall sound projection.

The reference "pseudo phase-inverter tunnel" is because in this project I didn't use the phase inverter tunnel, used in "bass-reflex" loudspeakers, but another technology called "tornado acoustics", (http://www.tornadoacoustics.ru).

I have a pair, too (in a test OB). I like them, albeit they can sound a bit dull at times. I have heard them in a TQWT with a super tweeter (looked like the cheap Dayton mini planar) and they were really nice. How do you find the treble? Did you do any measurements?

Yes, I have already taken measurements. The mid and high ranges are very close to the frequency response that comes in the speaker's specifications. The low range is better than the specs, of course, but I need to improve it. I've been using a class A SE amplifier, based on ECL82 tubes in triode mode. It has only 2.5W per channel. At low volumes, the bass is a little shy, but at higher volumes it becomes much better. I'm now doing tests with an ultra-linear PP amplifier, KT88, which has 40W per channel and everything has changed. The entire frequency range becomes very good. But my aim is to optimize these loudspeakers for use with low power Class A amplifiers. I've been doing a new design of the loudspeaker, but it's still in 3D CAD. I haven't built it yet.
