Correction on the layers:
LCD--Glass--BottomFresnel--Plexi--Glass--Space/Air--Glass

Plexi: Lexan XL-10 (used for UV sheild)
Fresnel was custom cut to size.

Pros:
-more compact that others 400watts/BT37 bulb projector
-~30,000 lumen on 15,000 hours
-easy to focus and bulb change
-LCD is fast (16ms) and very good LineDoubler (better than most
built-in converter)
-nice finish in pine with polyshade.

Cons:
-HEAVY (50lbs)
-very hot (~80C [170F] inside light chamber;
~70C [158F] near Fan and LCD)
-minnor light leakage
-noise level ~20db added to room

screen hanger

This is a closeup shot of the screen(side view). I made the frame out of wood and cover it with black fabric. The wood under the roller is just there to weigh down the screen (not neccesary needed)

Showtime

The picture was taken with the light off. A lamp was on for me to walk around. I set my camera to NightScene; everything seem brighter than it is. I was holding the camera and it cause the blurriness in the quality.

I think the throw distance was 1:1. --60" from the screen will make a 60" (diagonal) picture. I will post the actual measurment in the near future.

The Omega sat on the floor with ~15 degree keystone correction. Forgot too measure it too.

Matrix-Reloaded

You can clearly see the damage to the screen (right side). The room was dark but the camera w/NightScene ON caused everything to look brighter. I did not see a white screen when I was taken pictures! I just saw the projected image.

Next Update?

I took 24 pictures but most turned out to be blury or too bright.
I will try to get the next update soon. Eta 1 month
with a new Screen, better pictures, or ANYTHING YOU GUYS WANT TO SEE from the OUTSIDE of Omega-567s; because I seal up the light chamber and LCD tray already.

Thank you to all the people of this forum for making it possible. A great Thanks to Alan from Diylabs for all the information and stuffs. Great Site!! And Martin from <marty.nicsystems.com> for the inspiration.

Sorry for the 1year delay...

I been busy and did not have time to use Omega. But I just bought a digital camera so here are some pictures.
All pictures taken at 5MP with ISO200 and no flash.
I cropped and reduced them to 800x600.
